What I Stand For

My Stance

• I am not or have never been a politician. I am registered republican and have been my entire life.
• Not a Demopublican or Republicrat (someone that changes parties to benefit their self in whichever way the political wind is blowing).
• I am a God Fearing, Bible believing, family oriented, gun toting, hunter, fisherman, and farmer that is proud to be an American.
• I am just another hard-working citizen of our great State that is tired of what is happening to our state. Our state needs to make a major change to be successful in the future.
• I have been and I’m still a part owner in a small business, and have been involved in the business world my entire life. Part of the time as an employee, and also as an owner, most recently with the help of my family and all of the employees grew a business that employed at one point up to approximately 130 employees in my small hometown. The reason we were successful was because we believed in our employees and their fantastic work ethic. We believed in our in house training since the business was located in a very rural area that made it difficult to encourage employees to come and work. That is what makes our state so great, the mixture of our large and small communities that promote and preserves our great perspectives on life.
• I feel that I have a great understanding of helping individuals grow and better their life. Our state has a tremendous future, we have all the resources required we need the leadership to pull it all together.
• I am honest, and would expect the citizens to hold me accountable. A person’s integrity is all they really have so if I tell you something, I will do everything I can to make sure I keep my word no matter what.
• I believe that our state has not taken advantage of our natural resources and have allowed out of state companies come into our state and pillage it, without our state and its citizens being compensated properly. We have one of the greatest resources in the world and it is our hard-working citizens. With the proper leadership and our great workforce, we can bring great jobs to our state.

Beliefs for creating a Better West Virginia

• Pro Life
• Our Constitution especially the 2nd amendment and I will protect all of our freedoms as citizens of the United States and West Virginia.
• With the correct plan and the use of new technology we can get our roads fixed it will take time, but everyone would be informed of the plan and kept up to date on the progress. We have thousands of miles of roads that have been neglected for years so it cannot be fixed overnight. A good solid plan for this change will happen if elected for office.
• I will NOT put our state up for sale to China or anyone else. It belongs to each and every citizen. I believe that we have elected officials and some seeking offices that may have already made a deal to sell us out. Not under my watch!
• Our state has great hard-working intelligent individuals that want our elected officials to represent their best interests in bringing jobs of all types into our state so that our children and grandchildren can have a future within their home state. I want to be that elected official.
• We have a tremendous amount of corruption or that a lot of our elected officials belong to the good old boys or girls club. That needs to be vetted out and corrected. That would allow several dollars to be put back into the system for the benefit of all of our citizens.
• We have great educators in our state however our current system needs to be revamped to allow them and our students to be the best that they can be.
• I understand that not every person either can’t or does not want to go to college we need to have great training system for these individuals.
• Supporting our Emergency Services personnel whether paid or volunteer is vital to both our large and small communities. These individuals deserve our upmost respect and consideration when it comes to funding. Our volunteers and others are always there when they are called upon and put their life at risk in many instances as well as being there when we are in need. The rural areas of our state really depend on them in times of need.
• Our law enforcement and our military need to be supported by our state to insure that they have what they need to perform their duties and go home to their families at the end of the day safe and healthy.
• Our states future and current infrastructure needs to be taken care of and make sure we have the best we can at a reasonable cost so we do not put such a financial burden on our citizens.
• Our state employees are not being utilized to their fullest potential. I believe in holding individuals accountable for their actions and believe that when individuals are challenged they will rise to the occasion.
• Our government assistance programs need to be evaluated and revamped. We continue to throw money into a system that is broken. Instead we should be lifting them up and teaching them new skills and traits to be productive for themselves. Handouts only encourage individuals to find loop holes to abuse our already broken system.
• When it comes to the opioid crisis, we need to be looking at changes that are not only getting those individuals through rehab, but putting training and wellness programs in place so that they can cope and transition into a new beginning and become a productive individual for our society.
• Our incarcerated individuals should not be allowed to sit and do nothing. They should become productive and that can be accomplished. The tax paying citizens should not have to bear the financial burden for them because of their situation.
• Let’s HOLD ELECTED OFFICIALS ACCOUNTABLE! Putting in place a system that keeps our citizens informed about decisions that elected or representatives are supporting or considering to vote on.
• These are a few of my thoughts not in any particular order that I think would start to make a major change in our state, but to get things like this accomplished it takes each and every citizen pulling together. I would ask for your support and your vote on June 9th or sooner if you elect to participate in the early voting.
